Stand Up for Spirit! On October 17 laughter will fill the air in support of brighter futures for Lake Forest students.
Although education is no joke, the Spirit of 67 Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Lake Forest schools (K-8) is giggling through grants for the schools, with a ladies night out featuring Chicago comedian Pat McGann, and held at Onwentsia Club (300 N Green Bay Road) in Lake Forest.
This event will be big on laughs and friendship, bringing together moms from Everett, Cherokee and Sheridan Elementary Schools and from Deer Path Middle School to raise money for classroom grants.
